The 4th of July Parade will be on Saturday July 4 at 9 a.m. Starting from Hawthorn Dr in Round Lake Beach, heads South on Cedar Lake Rd, then heads East on Washington to South on Hainesville Road ending at the baseball park. The Parade is hosted by the Avon Youth Township Baseball League.
The Round Lake Area Park District will be hosting a family event on Saturday, July 4 at
Hook Lake in Round Lake Beach (parking at Metro station) starting at 6 p.m. Fireworks at dark.

American Aisle
Round Lake Area has one of the most unique Retail Store in the country! The name of the store is: American Aisle.
As suggested by name, the American Aisle sells products only made in the USA. American Aisle opened its doors in November of 2008. Since then, it has already created its own niche among the neighborhood towns, including Antioch, Ingleside, Grayslake and Gurnee.
After getting some very encouraging coverage by the media, the store also gets clients from as far as Wooddale, Schaumberg, Des Plaines etc.
It is really challenging to find US made products these days. It has taken Mia & Nitai over one and a half years to collect some very unique products available under one roof. These products are from most States of the country.
Organic Soaps & Body products from California, Pottery for Flowers décor from Maine, magnetic Tile Game from Colorado, Wooden Toys & Lincoln logs from Vermont as well as Maine, Silverware from Iowa, Flexible cutting boards in some vibrant designs from Chicago Land Area, and probably the only product in the store exported to China. They also have some great indoor & outdoor US Flags made in Ohio.
American Aisle with all it effort is in early stage of evolution and still needs our community support to thrive. As the store owners have displayed a startling quote “There are over 300 million people living in America. If each one would shift $20 a month spending to US made products, that itself would create millions of New jobs”
The charity begins at Home, as they say. So let us start with small portion of our expense towards US made products from American Aisle, and help them create a successful History in the retail markets of the country.
